Santa Fe, Texas - A 17-year-old carrying a shotgun and a revolver opened fire at a Houston-area high school Friday, killing 10 people, most of them students, authorities said...

Santa Fe High School, located 32 miles southeast of Houston in a city of thirteen thousand, was the site, where a student terrorist assailed classmates and teachers - killing eight students, two teachers and wounding ten on Friday morning.

The suspect, Dimitrios Pagourtzis, an 11th grade Santa Fe High School honor student, was sporting a trench coat, combat boots and a "born to kill" t-shirt.  He carried out the killings with his father's  legally purchased .38 revolver and a shotgun packed with buckshot.

On Instagram, Mr. Pagourtzis was a follower of Donald and Ivanka Trump and a number of pro-gun sites.

Antonios, 63, the father of Dimitrios, is a Facebook follower of Fox News and Dana Loesch, an unrepentant gun lover and hired gun for the National Rifle Association, whose Facebook byline is "God, family, guns."

Apparently, Dimitrios may not have obtained permission from his father, Antonios, to borrow the weapons he used to carry out the mass killing.

My sincere condolences to Santa Fe High School students, families and friends impacted by Mr. Pagourtzis and his father's revolver, shotgun and bullets.

Now is the time to address and suppress this emerging culture of gun violence.
