Lake Worth Cultural Plaza Tree Replacement Planting 

On January 19, 2015 a committee of members of the Keep Palm Beach Beautiful Board recommended planting a Gumbo Limbo tree in the Lake Worth Cultural Plaza.  The City of Lake Worth with the assistance of Amelia's Smarty Plants planted the Gumbo Limbo on Thursday morning April 16th.

Keep Palm Beach Beautiful wrote a $1000 check a few months after a Ficus was cut down on December 27, 2012 and in recent months urged the City to replace it with a native tree.  Lake Worth Community Redevelopment Agency donated $1000 and Lake Worth Interfaith Council donated $500.
